Springtime = Outdoorsy Time

Yep, this is Nate with our dogs. The Schnauzer's name is Salty (salt & pepper coat) and the Akita is Beckham (we saved him from the shelter the day he was scheduled to be put down). Good thing it's springtime because they like to walk A LOT! The boys are great with them.

Nate is on the baseball team, and he loves it! Grandpa's been working with him and he has a great coach. Best of all, he loves the game.

Cute photo of the Alleluia ladies

This was taken at the studio when we performed. I know it was a week ago, but I like it, so I'm posting it.

Today is back to life as usual... school for the kids, housework for me, Steve in Fresno. Nate has baseball this afternoon, so maybe I'll click a few shots of him there, or at his game on Friday so check back it & you'll see it.

Opening Show Tonight!!

Visalia Times Delta Article
This is such a beautiful scene of the Angel Gabriel visiting the Virgin Mary... How grateful I am to be part of this production... Easter has always meant so much to me because of the spiritual significance of The Savior's Resurrection; how the birth, mission and death all came together to mean our eternal salvation! There is so much talent in this production, but also (now that the stress of learning lines, notes and places is in the past) much warmth and genuine caring. My testimony has grown tremendously, and I look forward to improving myself with this renewal of The Savior's gift to us this Sunday as we celebrate Easter.

Other than the technical difficulties, it turned out OK. It broke my heart that Pam wasn't heard - her voice is like BUTTER!!!
Ticket office is on Main Street in Visalia just 2 doors West of the Fox Theater. Hope to see you there!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

This is a greeting I sent that cracked me up! Hope it works!
St. Patricks Day Card sent yesterday

BUSY MORNING!

Here's a photo of us at the flume by Potwitsha recently taken...

This is going to be a busy morning so I won't say much. My plan today is to CLEAN the house because I haven't been home much in the last couple of weeks due to work and the production. Seth has been begging to have a friend from school over to the house. Nate needs to go to the batting cages sometime today. I need to go to the bank because I'm BROKE! So... because I have laundry and floors to clean, I have to go.

Womens' Ensemble Today on KSEE 24

It was hard to sleep last night because I was so excited. I woke up at 4am and went all o.c.d. with the song we were singing today in my head over and over again. Olivia and I went to Fresno to sing the Womens' Ensemble Alleluia at one of the local television stations in Fresno. It took a LONG TIME for us to get ready with the makeup, then we sang at about 11:30 am.
My B.F.F. Shelley called & left a message that I did well before I even saw it (I set it up with the DVR at home).

If you want to view it, please email KSEE24 cvt@ksee.com so they will post it on the web at this address: http://www.ksee24.com/programming/cvt

If you don't email them, they won't post it because their focus was on St. Patricks Day.

TGIF doesn't mean Thank Goodness It's Friday

This is the last day of school before Easter Vacation. This is definitely not a vacation for me because the children will be home every day, and they don't pick up their socks... ever!

TONIGHT is a dress rehearsal for SOTW,
http://www.communitycorrespondent.com/kmph/video.php?id=26083 then I work SATURDAY AND SUNDAY (if you know me, you know it's necessary for me to work some Sabbaths because this is the time and season for me to be a mommy), then on MONDAY I'll be on TV with some other awesome ladies in SOTW, http://www.ksee24.com/programming/cvt followed by a wonderful FHE program at home. TUES-THURS are dress rehearsals, etc. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY will be the performance of SOTW, and in order to have had these days off, I have to work SUNDAY again, then I will actually be able to rest on Monday when the kids go to school. I feel like I'm out of breath after reviewing this whole scenario.

Thanks to Livvy, I've found this blogger site which is a lot more user friendly than most, and I think is a little sophomoric to have dumb ads in order to pay for the spot. Also, my 'friends' know who they are and don't have to put themselves on my page to be my friends. (you know who you are)

I'll spend some time working on what to do with this page so be patient.
